Although the official Interchapter 2023 ended yesterday, Sept. 19, we want to share with you that today we experienced a beautiful Eucharistic celebration presided over by Bishop Valdir José De Castro of the Society of St. Paul at the Cathedral of the Holy Family in the Diocese of Campo Limpo.
Bishop Valdir commented on the theme of our Interchapter, “Transformed by the Spirit, we walk together to generate life,” emphasizing that we need to communicate with the Spirit in order to be transformed; we need to communicate with each other as sisters and communities in order to walk together; and we need to communicate with others, with the world, in order to generate life.
We also shared a festive lunch with him, with classic Brazilian “churrasco.”
We will return to our communities with a beautiful sense of unity and a desire to share the insights we received, walking together with the sisters of our constituencies.
